BP: Energiankulutus kavaa 30% vuoteen 2035 mennessä

According to the 2017 edition of the BP Energy Outlook, global demand for energy is likely to increase by 1.3% per annum, or about 30 per cent in the period between 2015 and 2035.
This evolution in energy demand is much lower than the 3.4% per year rise estimated in global GDP, which denotes improved energy efficiency determined by progresses in technology and environmental concerns. The Outlook projects that fossil fuels will remain the main source of energy, while renewables are expected to account for half of the growth in energy supplies over the next 20 years. Oil, gas and coal will be responsible for more than 75 per cent of total energy supplies in 2035, while in 2015 these attained 86 per cent.  [emp]
